This photo from my son’s wedding suggests a flawless celebration, but behind it were months of preparation, tension, and exhaustion. In Grace from Grit, the illusion of perfection is replaced by God’s grace sustaining a mother through the grit and grind that make life meaningful.

Since residing on the Isle of Palms for thirty years, I have scavenged many shells, driftwood, and other beautiful items left onshore by the ocean. Many of my creations incorporate these finds.
Married forty-two years to Pete, Michelle is the mother of three adult children and one recently acquired daughter-in-law. Retired from teaching kindergarten, she spends her spare time teaching fitness classes, crafting, reading, writing, cooking, and volunteering. Faith has always been an essential part of her life. Her first book, Grace from Grit, is available on Amazon.com.
